Larry Jack Smith

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry on September 18, 2017 with his family at his side at the age of 76, after a courageous battle. He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Sharron and their beloved dachshund Tank. Devoted father of Paul, Tammy, Julie (Mike), Lisa (Michael), Jamie (Lindsay), Sandy as well as Brian, Richard and Christopher. He leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends who loved him. Loving brother of Lorraine (Dave), Pam (John) and predeceased by his infant daughter Karen, sister Patricia and loving parents Jack and Nellie. Larry’s love of music shone through in his role as proprietor of Stardust Records along with his wife since 1983. Retiree of Sunoco Canada (Suncor) as well as a past disc jockey with Cing FM108. Special thanks are extended to our dear friend Mark Panopoulos for all of his selfless care and assistance over the years and during this difficult time. Thanks also to the healthcare professionals who assisted our family with compassionate care.

Following his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Larry’s life will be announced at a later date.
