Her humour, love of a good story and empathy came through in all she did, even in her last days. Her legacy is in the fabric of the communities she helped to grow, in the personal connections she made so readily, and in her impact on the lives of so many students as a teacher and principal. She loved to travel with her closest friends, to dabble in interior design, and took great joy in planning tours for the Retired Teachers of Ontario, District 13.
Please join us in honouring her memory by enjoying adventures – take your best friend to see if the candy tastes better down the mountain, dance in a Greek taverna on the beach, buy all the jewels and say yes to that trip.
Join us for a celebration of Lee’s life later in the spring, open to all. A small, private service will take place on February 11 for close family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to City Kidz, or other organizations that promote resiliency and opportunity for kids living with adversity.
