PERSIN, Ljubica (nee Lukac) May 25, 1941 - January 14, 2011 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of a wonderful woman. Gone to be reunited with the love of her life, her beloved husband Alojz (November 11, 2003). Loving mother to Jacqueline and John. Cherished and devoted grand-mother to Anthony and Julia Mijic, Jasmine and Isaiah Persin. Respected and caring mother-in- law to Marko Mijic and Michelle Persin. Will be sadly missed by sister Milka (Ivan) Orlic. Predeceased by brother Milos Lukac and will be missed by his wife Soka and family. Sister-in-law to Ivan Persin, Mijo Persin, Josip Persin and their families. Will always be fondly remembered by cherished friends, Kumovi and extended families. Her precise baking masterpieces, her energy doting on her grandchildren and the jokes and laughs she shared with us will be in our hearts forever. Visiting will be held at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. East on Monday from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Prayer Service Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. Interment, Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
