Ljubomir "Larry" Rožman

Predeceased by his loving wife Dragica "Christina" for 58 years. Loving father of John (Nancy) and Tony (Ana). Cherished grandpa "Bim" of Nicole (George), Amanda (Brendan), Tomas, Antea, Stephanie (Joe), Melanie (Mark). Great grandfather to Remy, Jonah and Armin. Predeceased by his brother Josip.

Born in Mala Paka, Croatia, he later moved to Australia then made Canada his home in 1969. Ljubo retired from Wabco Westinghouse in 2001. He enjoyed watching golf and tennis, cheering on the Montreal Canadiens and his beloved "Plavi" Dinamo Zagreb. He was Tomas' biggest fan throughout his hockey career. Dad loved going to banquets and dancing, going to picnics and the trailer, visiting friends, playing cards, bocce and having a "good old-fashioned BBQ" with family.

Ljubo will always be remembered as a kind and gentle person, but mostly for how he took care of his loving wife Dragica through her illness for over 15 years. He will be deeply missed by his family, cousins, Kumovi, friends and neighbours.

Resting at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton for visitation on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Prayers will be held at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, Hamilton on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek. If so desired, memorial donations in Ljubomir's memory can be made to the Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Parish in Hamilton.
