Lucia Margarida Brandao

Beloved wife of Luis Brandao, for 47 years. Loving mother of Gary Brandao and his wife Julie Amanda Brandao. Very proud Vava of Claudio Brandao. She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings Luis (Anna), Fatima (Mario), César (Elsa), Ana (Manuel), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased by her brother Manuel and sister Maria Jose.

Lucy enjoyed her working career as a Cleaning Professional. She owned her own cleaning company, but her real joy was taking care of her home and family, especially her grandson Claudio. Her house was always spotless and she enjoyed cooking. Her lasagna, meatballs, and polvo were her families favourites.

Lucy’s family wish to thank their friends and family for their efforts they have made to be with them during this time.

Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 12 – 2 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be said in the Cresmount Chapel at 2 pm with cremation will follow.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
