M. Doris Thom

After a long and full life, it is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Doris was the loving and much loved wife of Donald for 63 years. Together they had six children. Darlyne (Jim), Edward (Marilee), Susan (Pat), Sandra (Ken), Donald (Kim) and Patrick (Patty). Doris adored all 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Doris is mourned by her twin sister Delores Branchaud (late Marc). Predeceased by her parents Rose and Edward Moriarity, sister Mary Ellen Woolvett and her only brother Judge Michael Moriarity. Mom will be incredibly missed at her little Bunkie on Cameron Lake where she spent many summers playing cards, watching her birds and just being loved by her family. We want to thank you, Dad, for your exemplary care of our Mom always, but especially since her heart attack almost 20 years ago. Without you Dad, we would have lost Mom years ago. Dad always said he had to live one day longer than his wife. We will miss you forever, Mom. Cremation has taken place. There will be an open house on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 1 pm ‘till 4 pm at the home of her daughter, 47 Helen Street, Dundas.
