Madeleine Gallant

She leaves behind her true love, husband of 61 years and best friend Earl Gallant. Loving mother of Donna (Brad), Daryl, Carol (Rob) and Leanne. Cherished grandma of Taylor (Adam), Carson and Ava. Sister of Colette (Sandy), Rachelle (Dave) and sister-in-law Carol and is predeceased by her brother Jacques and parents Philippe and Rhea. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She will always be remembered for her baking, puzzling and gaming skills, gardening, patience, love of family time and gentle kind soul. Thank you to the staff at Juravinski Hospital and a special thank you to the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital (Palliative Care Unit) for the compassion, care and support they showed to Madeleine (and her family) during her stay.

Memorial Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday August 1 from 4-8pm. Memorial Service at Holy Family Church, 1393 Cannon Street East on Wednesday August 2 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Peter’s Hospital would be appreciated.
