Margaret Ann Faulkner

Margaret Ann Faulkner, 87, of Hamilton, ON passed away peacefully on December 6th 2025, at Macassa Lodge.

She was born in Hamilton ON on May 5 1938 to Loretta and Austin Jones. Margaret grew up in Hamilton, where she took a growing interest in religion and tennis.

After graduating from Loretto Academy, she met Noah Faulkner one day while playing tennis. She then after nights of long talks, and tennis matches fell in love.

In 1956 she married Noah Faulkner, and together they built a loving home, while raising their son David Stephen Faulkner.

Margaret Faulkner will be remembered for her compassionate spirit, resilience and strength and her passion for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Margaret Faulkner is survived by her son David and his wife Cynthia Faulkner, her grandchildren and their spouses, Nicole and Sean Cairnie, Colleen and Jordan Green. Her great grandchildren, Liam and Hudson Cairnie and Finley Green. She was preceded in death by her parents, Loretta and Austin Jones and her husband of 60 years, Noah Faulkner.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 11am-1pm followed by a Chapel Service at 1:00 pm at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street Hamilton ON. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Margaret’s life. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret’s honor to the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton, Alzheimer Society - Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton.
