Margaret Livingston Harris

Peacefully surrounded by the love of her children Mum left us to join the love of her life in heaven on Saturday, January 27, 2018. Mum lived a full and happy life for 92 years and she will be deeply and forever missed by her children Gloria Appleby (Gary), Debbie Shields (Bob), Robert, Cheryl, Neil (Joan), Winnie Baran (Art) and Wayne. Survived by loving sister Jean Quinn. Mum was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert (1997), son George (2011), daughter Janet (2017) and grandson Johnny (1987). Grandma also leaves to mourn 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Family and friends are welcome to Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, for visitation on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery. Margaret’s children would like to thank all of the staff of Juravinski, the staff of CCAC who lovingly cared for our Mum over the past few months, as well as Dr. A. Alipio for his care, concern and comfort and to Ellen Fagan, thank you for being Mum’s best friend for 25 years.
