She is survived by her son Julius (Erika), daughter Marianna (Micheal) and cherished granddaughter Stefanie.
Marianna is loved and embraced by her extended family including Petra, Morgen (Scott), MJay (Shannon), Mallory (Mike) and their children.
Her memory continues to live on through her nieces and nephews Leslie (Stephanie), Elizabeth, Ivan and Adrienne (Dale), together with her sister-in-law Judith.
Born in Budapest, Hungary, Marianna lived a beautiful life with her mother (Piroska), father (Dr. Végh József) and siblings Ivan and Elizabeth. However, WW II resulted in challenges and tragedy, including the premature death of Marianna's beloved father. After the war Marianna completed her education and began a successful career with the Federal Government in the Ministry of Communications (located in Budapest). With the turmoil of the Hungarian Revolution in 1956 Marianna, together with her mother and siblings, made the difficult decision to leave Hungary and subsequently arrived in Canada in February of 1957.
After settling in Hamilton, Marianna met a charming gentleman by the name of Gyula Fulop and they married in December 1959. They were truly inseparable. Their joy was fostered from their life with each other and their children; family was everything to them. Over the years, life in Ancaster and at the cottage (Davis Lake) produced countless amazing memories and blessings.
Together with her family Marianna also enjoyed travelling to various destinations. Europe was a particular favourite, where visits with relatives resulted in unforgettable adventures and heartwarming experiences.
Throughout her life Marianna valued the joyful times and steadfastly faced any downturns with courage, strength, faith and trust. Her resilience was evident in all she did and this spirit inspired everyone around her.
Marianna was an incredible lady who will always be in our hearts and remembered with love. God bless you Mom; now it is your turn to rest.
