Marija Bukovac

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marija on Monday, February 12, 2018 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Dane. Cherished mother of Maryann Kutlesa and Ivica (John) and daughter-in-law Snjezana. Proud and loving grandmother of Dane and Ariana. Predeceased by her brother Marko Miletic (the late Matija). Sister of Ana Blazevic (the late Ive (Chapo) Blazevic). She will be sadly missed by Dane’s sisters Anka Niksic (the late Joso) and Jeka and Mile Vojnovic. Also predeceased by her brothers-in-law Marko Bukovac, Mile Bukovac, sisters-in-law Mara Velic (the late Bego), Manda Caculovic (the late Ivica), and Roza Hecimovic (Joso). Marija will be fondly remembered by her cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada and Croatia. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil Prayers Friday at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King St. E. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 9:00 am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, donations to Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church would be sincerely appreciated.
