Born on February 21st, 1940, in Longueuil, Quebec to William and Agnes Munro, she grew up with her 3 sisters, Barbara, June and Kathy.
Marilyn worked for Dominion Grocery Stores for 18 years and then for the HWSSB, until her retirement in 2005.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Barbara and her daughter Dana Di Labbio (2023).
She is survived by her son Bret Di Labbio (Sharon), her grandson Dane Di Labbio, granddaughters Madeline and Rachel Di Labbio, as well as several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Juravinski Tower, 7th Floor Renal Wing for the care and compassion they showed Marilyn in her final days.
At Marilyn’s request, there will be a Celebration of Life early in 2026, date and location to follow.
