Marilyn Lillian Minaker

Beloved wife of Angus for 63 years, Marilyn was a devoted and loving mother to Kim (Rod), Brent (JoAnne), Rick, and Pam (Shawn). She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Lindsey, Lucas, Andrea, Glen, Caroline, Jaysen, and Megan, and a treasured great-grandmother to Mya, Maeve, MJ, Beauden, Morgan, Tate, Charlotte, and Tessa. Marilyn was one of four siblings, along with several half-siblings, and will be fondly remembered by her extended family and many dear friends.

Known affectionately as Mom, Grandma, and Auntie Marilyn, she will always be remembered for her vibrant, bubbly personality and her love of conversation—there was truly no such thing as a quick chat with her. Family meant everything to Marilyn, and she cherished every opportunity to spend time with loved ones, rarely missing a special occasion.

Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, Ontario, on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. A private family graveside service will take place afterward at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Stoney Creek.

In memory of Marilyn, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
