Mary Catherine Lenski-Leo (nee Famely)

Predeceased by husbands Louis Lenski and Joseph Leo. Much adored mother to Lisa Susi and cherished Nanna to Matthew (Alexandria) and Daniel. She will be dearly missed by brother Jack Famely and the late Flo, sisters Alma Bortolotto (Bruno), Shirley Reisenweber (Karl), Ruby Milawski (Bill), Pat Famely and sister-in-law Tina Leo and the late Romano. Mary will also be fondly missed by her nieces, nephews, the extended Lenski and Leo families and many friends. Our deepest gratitude to everyone at the Bob Kemp Hospice for their remarkable care, kindness and support. Her outlook on life was inspiring. If you were lucky to spend more than five minutes in her presence, you were forever changed. We are so lucky to have had a role model who embraced each day with optimism. My mom made sure I always knew how much she cared. She reminded me every day how important I was to her. I knew she loved me because she took time to tell me. My mom was an incredible person. I feel very lucky to have been her daughter. We will miss you forever.

To honour Mary’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday July 19 at 11am at St. Eugene’s Church, 232 Queenston Road, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bob Kemp Hospice.
