Mary Rose Pesowski

After a long courageous struggle, passed away on April 3, 2011, in her 81st year, at St. Peter's Hospital. Survived by her husband of 64 years Michael, loving mother of Jo Anne Vinc (late John), Michael (Lorie) and Keith (Leanne), grandmother of Jason Vinc (Lori), Eric Vinc (Tara), Matthew Vinc, Brian (Madeline), Sean and Madison; great-grandmother of Michael, Taylor and Makenna. Dear sister of Mike Lenko (late Barb), Rose Lalonde (Richard), Emil Lenko (Kathy) and Josephine Fritz (Ken). Also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Mary was a proud member of St. John’s C.W.L. Mary cherished the time she spent with her family and was very proud of their accomplishments. Visitation will be held at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, April 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 128 Edgemont Ave., Hamilton, on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
