After a courageous, brave battle Melissa peacefully passed away on April 13, 2015 at the age of 38 years. Cherished and deeply missed by her loving husband Robert. Lovingly remembered by her mother Lorraine (John), sister Jennifer, brother Donny and mother in law Susan. Also missed by nephews Brody and Calvin. Forever in the hearts of her cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, many friends and co-workers at the City of Hamilton Red Hill Daycare. Melissa will be remembered for her bright, bubbly personality, caring heart, lust for life and great outlook on whatever came her way. Her memory will carry on in the hearts of those who loved her. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Melissa's Life at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Monday, April 20, 2015 with visitation beginning at 2 p.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 3 p.m. In memory of Melissa, please allow Robert to keep her wishes, by supporting him to continue the Juravinski Hospital's Bright Run which supports Breast Cancer research in Hamilton.
