Michel "Mike" Anthony Everton Strucke

Mike was a devoted father to Miranda Bailey (Anthony), and a proud and loving Papa to his grandchildren Anakin, Nora, Oliver, and Mila. He was a cherished partner to Jeanette Fletcher, and a caring presence in the life of her son, Dillon Fletcher. He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Jean Brow (Charles), Ken Strucke (Sharon), Brenda Salter, and Jeo-Ann Pearce (Gord). Mike was predeceased by his brothers Tim and Terry Strucke. He shared a special brotherly friendship with and will be fondly remembered by Bill Chase "Skippy" and Brien Skelly. Mike had a deep love for his grandchildren and was known for his playful spirit, adventurous nature, and generous heart. He found joy in fishing, cooking, and gardening, and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His warmth and humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and friends. A special thank you to the compassionate staff at Juravinski Hospital ICU for their exceptional care and support. Mike had a special place in his heart for children. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor his memory are invited to make a donation to City Kidz, a cause close to his heart.

Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue E., Hamilton, on Friday, May 9th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Online condolences may be shared at cresmountfennellchapel.com.
