Special thanks to Father Dan Hinsperger and the parishioners of St. Luke's, Dr. Frank O'Toole, dear friends the Mayne family, the dozens of caregivers with whom Monica was blessed, our families at UFMA and HAC and countless others at McMaster Children's Hospital whose support helped sustain our daughter. Monica's life touched so many hearts. We are humbled and grateful for the outpouring of love and support received by our family. We will always treasure the thousands of people who prayed for a miracle for Monica, especially all the school children who took her struggle to heart. Indeed, this faith-filled response was itself a miracle. Most importantly, we want to thank God for giving us our Monica. She came directly from His hands and it is now time to give her back. We are honoured to have been entrusted with her and will always be a family of seven. Even during difficult times, we are truly blessed.
