It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Nancy, surrounded by her loving family on November 29, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Peter for 58 years. Loving mother of William “Bill” (Alicia) and Brian (Julie). Cherished Granny of Alex (Ashley), Cheryl Anne, Daniel, Emily (Kelsey). Dear sister of Mary and Margaret. Predeceased by five siblings. Sadly missed by Anna Marie, Michael, Rosalyn and their families. Special thanks to the doctors and staff of Juravinski and St. Peter’s Hospitals for their compassionate care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 20 Idlewood Avenue, on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 10 am. Interment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) would be greatly appreciated.
