Neda Antonia Cortiula

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Neda in her 77th year on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Neda was the beloved wife of the late Rudy, cherished mother of Mark (Rebecca), Paul and Adam (Kati), and loving grandmother of Tristan, Aidan, Fynn, Belle, Ava and Jude. Survived by her siblings Nadja, Mark, Nick, Jana, Sandi and Tom. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. Neda was active as President of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Women’s League and won many awards for horticulture and photography. These were just a few of her many and varied talents and gifts. Neda lived life to its fullest and would want all to emulate her spirit. Much thanks for the care of all staff at both Juravinski and St. Peter’s Hospitals. Visitation at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME – FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2015. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 50 Brucedale Avenue East, Hamilton on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 9 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired donations to Hamilton Health Sciences, the Good Shepherd or The Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton would be appreciated by the family.
