Norma Fanio Anastasio

Predeceased by parents, Romulo Sr. & Emiteria Anastasio. Norma will be greatly missed by siblings Ester (Peter Santos), Alice (late Roland Baltazar) & Romy Jr. (Hedy Concepcion) as well as nieces & nephews, Diane Baltazar (Nigel Mitchell), Joanne Baltazar (Sheldon Nathaniel), Katherine Anastasio (Anthony Guevarra), Jennifer Anastasio (Aaron Bowman), Christopher Anastasio, Allan Baltazar (Jennifer Tratch), Marie Baltazar (Jay Lum Yip), Pam Santos & John Baltazar. Beloved Lola Omma to great nieces & nephews, Nolan, Siena, Roman, Ava, Atticus, Matteo, Wesley, Maia, Emmitt, Jonah, Alex, Nico, Marcus, Mason, Joey & Nora.

Also mourning her demise are cousins & friends in Canada, The USA & the Philippines especially cousins Aida Berg, Josephine Quinto & Sonia Ira & their families.

Norma was a Medical Technologist graduate of the University of Santo Tomas in Manila in 1963. She initially went to Durham, North Carolina then to Boston. She came to Hamilton in 1966 and worked at St. Joseph's Hospital as a Medical Laboratory Technologist until her retirement in 1999.

Norma lived for her family! If given the choice, she'd rather spend her money on her family than on herself. She was a generous, loving and caring sister, aunt, Lola and Ninang. Norma will be resting at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue E. Hamilton, Ontario. Visitation will take place on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 2pm - 9pm with Vigil Prayer to be said at 8:30pm.

Funeral mass will be held at Annunciation of Our Lord Parish, 280 Limeridge Rd West, Hamilton on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 10am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 254 Garner Road West Ancaster. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to either Cancer Assistance Program or the St. Patrick's Parish, DeMazenod Door Outreach. Special thanks to the nursing and medical staff at St. Joseph's Hospital- Charlton Campus for the excellent care you have given Norma. We will miss your smile but we are all glad that you are now resting in peace.
