Born in Clydebank, Scotland, Patsy was a proud WWII survivor who carried remarkable strength, resilience, and gratitude throughout her life. She immigrated to Canada in 1964 with her husband Alexander and two daughters, Carol-Anne and Mary, where she built a full and joyful life rooted in family, faith and heritage then soon after Pauline was born. Fierce in her love, unwavering in her devotion to her family, and always the life of the party, Patsy was a guiding light to all who knew her. Predeceased by parents Daniel and Catherine Gill, her beloved husband Alexander Hay, her cherished granddaughter Catherine, and her siblings Mary, Cathy, Johnny, Jimmy, Margaret, Danny, Sissy, Eddy and Teresa. Lovingly remembered by her daughters Carol-Anne Hay; Mary Kolenko (Raphael), children Rachel, Samuel (Taylor), Sophie, and great-grandson Matteo; and Pauline Jarvis (Timothy), children Hayley (Joshua), Catherine (predeceased), Owen, and Grace. Patsy was a proud and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence will be deeply missed and forever felt. She is also lovingly remembered by her adoring family and friends here in Canada and extended relatives back home in the United Kingdom, who held a special place in her heart. The family extends their deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers, with special and profound thanks to Silvana, whose exceptional compassion, dedication, and love went above and beyond and meant more than words can express. Sincere thanks are also extended to Meaza and Merceta for their exceptional care and kindness.
