First and foremost - Pat’s family and friends were what mattered most; and she made sure they all knew that. It is difficult to adequately express how much she will be missed. She loved her traditions and fought hard to hold on to them - right up until the end. Knowing they will continue is something she will love.
Pat is the beloved and cherished wife of 51 years to Bob - saying goodbye to his best friend has been unimaginable.
She was a wonderful Mother. Her two daughters, Mandy and Sarah, sons-in-law Brent and Greg, and grand-children Abby, Ashlan, Reid and Aedan meant the world to her. She was their loudest champion and closest ally - they will be forever grateful to have had her as their role model. Pat loved her grandkids - she was the best Nana, and this was a role she took great pride in. They will all forever hold close the memories they have of their time with her.
She was Predeceased by her parents Bill and Anne (the original of Nana’s!) Gowland, her mother and father in-law Marion and Joseph Knight, as well as her Aunts and Uncles Sophie and Fred Husak, Helen and Andy Mareski and Stella and Arne Easterby. Pat will be sadly missed by her Cousin Kathy, with whom she shared a special bond. Her brothers Ron (Jeanne) and Jim; Sister-in-Law Jean (the late Ron) Mayne. Aunt to Sheri, Joe, (the late Kristopher), Katelyn, Jacob, Davis, Kim, Brian, Charlise, Bryson, Christine, Que, Cru, Jason, Irene, Austin, Rylee, Taylor, Mark, Michael and Meghan.
Friends are the family you have chosen - Maggie, Katie (the late Bruce), Pat, Sandy (the late Johnny), Butch and Jeannie… and when those friendships span your entire life - to say she will be missed is an understatement.
Due to COVID-19 all events are restricted to a specified number of attendees; however, there is no registration required. If you are so inclined; she would be touched to have donations in her memory made to Whispering Hearts Horse Rescue in Hagersville - www.whhrescue.com
Rest In Peace Pat - thank you for more than we could ever begin to say. We love you ♡
