Paul James Sweck

Born August 30, 1925 and passed peacefully at Macassa Lodge in Hamilton on April 29, 2013 in his 88th year. Paul is survived by his sister Elsie Kneller (Edward), sons Andrew (Jane) of Indiana, USA and Peter (Selene) of Essex, Connecticut, grandchildren Michael, David and Keely as well as nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his wife Jane, son Daniel and brothers Michael and Walter. Paul retired from Stelco after a 35 year career and was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion (Battlefield Branch – Stoney Creek) after having served in the Canadian Infantry in WWII. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation for the many years of care Paul received at Macassa Lodge, especially to the staff of C-Wing. Arrangements have been entrusted to TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL (905-549-2417). Following his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Macassa Lodge Volunteer Association would be appreciated.
