June 12, 1918-August 18, 2011
Passed away peacefully. Will be greatly missed by daughter Diane Inrig, I've lost a Mom, friend and travel companion. Son-in-law Joe, with whom she shared many laughs. Her pride and joy grandson Richard and his wonderful wife Janet, as well as great grandchildren, Clayton and Rachel, who she was lucky enough to see grow into intelligent, athletic and caring teens. Great Gramma had a many long walk pushing them in their strollers as babies. Pearl worked at the Hamilton Spectator in classified advertising until retirement at 65. Shopping was a passion when the Eaton Centre was fashionable and Limeridge Mall was a favourite after retirement. Diane and Pearl enjoyed their travels to Aruba, Cancun and St. Thomas USVI, as well she travelled with friends and family to Florida and Vancouver as well as many bus and day trips. A full life!
Thank you to Bayshore Home Health for their assistance as Pearl headed toward 90 and yet still in her own apartment. A very grateful thanks to the fantastic staff and friends of Macassa Lodge C2 East who go above and beyond with care and compassion. Arrangements entrusted to CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME.
"Happy Shopping Mom!"
