ARMONAS, Petras – Peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, in his 92nd year. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife and soulmate, Alina, his lifetime friend and brother-in-law, Zeno Ceckauskas, son Edward and his wife Adrienne Rickus, daughter Lucy and her husband Bill Lobodici, son Romas and his wife Rita Rickus, his grandsons, Adam Lobodici, Steven and his wife Jill Lobodici, Eric and Thomas Rickus and Peter Rickus, as well as great grandson Baby Zeno Rickus. Pete was the former owner of the Concession Garage for many years. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the CTU Central at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their compassionate care. The family will receive friends at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main St. East (east of Sanford) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Rosary will be held at 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Mercy Lithuanian Church, 58 Dundurn Street North, on Friday at 10am. Interment to follow at St. John Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga. As an expression of sympathy donations to the CNIB would be greatly appreciated.
