Philip Joseph Mungal

Passed away July 14, 2013 and is reunited with his dear wife Hilda (2004). Loving and proud dad of Dr.Alroy Chow and his wife Valerie of Jacksonville, Florida, Kenrick Chow (retired Professor of Mohawk College), Dr. Carlyle Chow and his dear wife Vera-Lynn of Baddeck, Nova Scotia,and Edrich Chow-Mungal (owner of Parvenu Computers and Ya Man Restaurant) and his dear wife Annie of Stoney Creek. Dear grandfather of Jeffrey, Roger, Derek, Cheryl, Ann-Marie, Collin, Stephen, Heather, Carlyle Jr., Natasha-Lynn, Trevor and Christopher. Philip was born in St. Lucia, West Indies on the 15th of September, 1922 and lived in Trinidad for 35 years before moving to Canada in 1969. He enjoyed working at Westinghouse in the Turbine and Generator Division and he faithfully worshipped his Lord at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle Church. Visitation Monday, July 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at UPPER JAMES CHAPEL of Cresmount Funeral Home, 1020 Upper James Street. Funeral Service Tuesday,July 23rd at 10 a.m. Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, 1355 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton. Interment Mount Hamilton Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
