The song by Avril Lavine says it best "When You're Gone." I don't think we were made for each other Raymond, but I do believe we were good for each other. Over the years we learned to bring out the best in each other. I am so proud of our children Raymond, you were right, they do take care of me.

To our children, family and friends who have helped me in so many ways to navigate through the grief...Thank you. You have provided me with the love, support and the space I have needed. I am still navigating.
I thank God for the life Raymond and I shared, and for granting Raymond a gentle passage to heaven. He was, "A Good Man."

Please accept my condolances.  I was very sad to hear of the passing of Ray.  I worked with Ray at Ford on the old and new door lines.  Ray was a great guy, thoughtful of others and a real card when it came to having a good laugh.  My mind is flooded with all sorts of good memories that I can reflect on.  Ray will be sadly missed but wonderfully remembered.  Please say hello to Ray for me the next time his boat goes out for a spin for I know that is where he will be. God bless.

Dear Sherry, it was exactly May 5th, last year, 2011, John and I on our way to Fort Lauderdale airport to pick up you and Raymond  for a long weekend at our house worried if Raymond was going to enjoy himself just relaxing for the weekend in south Florida.  Not only did we end up with a belly ache laughing all weekend, we made some incredible memories that we will be eternally grateful for. Adam, Charlie and Tanya.... Your father touched so many hearts in his short life and we are truly blessed to have had the privilege of being a part of it. The smiles he brought to so many faces is a gift no one will ever forget. As you celebrate his life on Saturday, John and I truly believe that he will be smiling down on all of us --- in his front row seat at an Elvis concert.  Our hearts are broken and our memories of Raymond will live forever. Love to all of you.
