Passed peacefully in Hamilton on February 17, 2015 in his 63rd year. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Iris Salzer. Predeceased by his father John “Jack” Salzer. Dear brother of John, Geoff (Sandra), Eric (Catherine), Maureen and Paul (Jane). Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews as well as his darts friends at his local watering hole. Ray was a longstanding, respected member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 90. His life will be celebrated at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the delta) from 10am to 11am on Saturday February 28, concluding with a service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hamilton SPCA would be appreciated.
