Beloved wife of Hans Kowalewicz who shared 57 incredible years together. Best Mom to Corinna (Brad) and Brian (Tanya). Much loved Oma to her grandchildren Isabel (Mason) and Oliver.
Predeceased by her brother Hubert and sister Anneliese. She will be missed by her surviving sisters Irmtraud and Adele and brothers Heini (Heinrich) und Jupp (Josef) and many other relatives in Canada and Germany including many nieces and nephews in Germany.
Born in Germany and immigrating to Canada in 1979, Regina and Hans built a beautiful life in Hamilton Ontario.
She loved her garden and spent endless hours taking care of her plants. Regina loved watching all sports but especially tennis.
A true caregiver, Regina was always concerned about those around her. She devoted her life to her family. They were her utmost priority.
She valiantly fought cancer several times over the last 25 years. This last time proved to be too much.
We will miss her forever.
