Richard Christopher Rogers

Beloved husband of Karin for more than 24 years. Loving father of Mark Rogers, Steven Rogers (Stephanie), step-father of Billy Smith (Jeanna) and Ashley Smith (Corey Gouveia). Proud grandfather of Abagail, Vincent, Dominic, Lily, Hunter, Hayden, Landon, Colton, and Jaxson. He will also be lovingly remembered by his siblings Cindy (Don) Campbell, and Kim (Mike) Rinehart, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Daryl (Wendy) Rogers.

Rick was born and raised in Hamilton. He worked as an Electrical Foreman at Stelco Hilton Works, retiring in 2004 after 34 years of service

He enjoyed many hobbies, especially golf, fishing, and hockey but the most important thing to Rick was spending time with his family.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 12 – 1 pm. The Memorial Service to celebrate his life will follow in the Cresmount Chapel at 1 pm.
