Rino was a devoted husband, father, Nonno, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Silvana (Brunetti), daughter Sonia (Doug), son Stefan (Karen), grandchildren Julia (Matthew), Jack, Noah and Alexandra. Rino was born in San Lorenzo in Campo, Italy. He is survived by his sisters Elide (Arno, predeceased), and Amelia (Renato, predeceased) and is predeceased by his sister Dina. He arrived in Canada as a young man and together with Silvana, he learned a new language, worked hard and built a life filled with family, friends and lots of love. Thank you, dad, for showing us the importance of family. Your values and traditions will live on through us.
Visitation at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, on Friday, February 14 from 5-7 p.m. Graveside Service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington in the Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum on Saturday, February 15 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
