It is with great sadness that his family announces Bob’s passing on March 9, 2012 in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Linda, cherished father of Ian (Slafka) and Jennifer Stannix (Chris). Proud grandfather of Daniel, Alexia, Cole and Jacob. Also survived by sisters Elaine Barnes and Nancy Robson. Special thanks to ICU Nursing Staff at St. Joe’s for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME “Upper James Chapel”, 1020 Upper James St. on Tuesday, March 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Prayers at 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1694 Upper James St. on Wednesday, March 14th at 10:00 am.
