Robert William Moffatt

Our hearts are broken but we have the assurance that " he is absent from the body and present with the Lord " - 11 Corinthians 5:13. Robert was the beloved husband of 27 years to Denise. He was a loving and proud father to Kichie, David (Karen), James (Amy) and proud Grandfather to their children Nevin and Maya. Robert is predeceased by his parents Donald and Mae Moffatt and also by his brothers Donald Jr. and Bernard. Left to mourn Robert are his sisters Liz Johnson (Lance - predeceased) and Lois and Cam Woods. Robert will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends in Canada and The United States. Robert was a retired employee of McMaster University's MPS with twenty-seven years of service. His Friday lunches post retirement were something he cherished. Our family would like to thank the nurses who provided wonderful care of Robert during his short stay in the hospital. A special thank you to the Palliative Care Team who went above and beyond to help Robert and our family during this very difficult time. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. Hamilton, Ontario on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 2pm-3pm. Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Research Society or Family Bible Hour International in Robert's memory.
