Rocco Longo

Rocco passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in his seventy-third year at the Hamilton General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents Nicola and Louisa Longo of Molinara, Italy, and his sister Cristina and the late Robert Price of Hamilton. Rocco is survived by his sister Maria and the late Carmelo Seneca and his brother Tony and Lea Longo of Welland. He was the beloved uncle of Michael and Aileen Price, Trevor and Cheryl Price of Hamilton, Josie and John DiFelice, Louisa and Jim Fazzalari, Marina Seneca, Robert Seneca, Louisa Longo, Joanna Longo of Welland. Rocco will be missed by his great nephews and great nieces Andrew and James Price, Cristina and Rebecca Price of Hamilton, Jennifer and Frank DiFelice, Jimmy, Lisa and Michael Fazzalari, Ashley and Joshua MacMeekin of Welland. Rocco was an employee of Stelco Canada for more than 30 years and an avid supporter of AC Fiorentina. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church (corner of Nash Road and Barton Street) on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 9 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
