He was predeceased by his wife, Linda. Loving father to Steve (Leanne). Proud grandpa to Carter and Spencer. Fondly remembered by his siblings Freda, Mark (Bonnie), Glenn, and Barb (Roy). Cherished uncle to Sarah, dear friend to Gabrielle, John and Henry, all of whom have provided companionship and care over the years.
Ron was a respected truck technician with LaFarge for 41 years. He loved dogs, anything car related, NASCAR, going for tea with a friend, and good conversation.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 1 – 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the SPCA or Canadian Cancer Society.
