With loving family by her side, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Mom peacefully entered into God's loving embrace on Sunday, October 30, 2016 in her 75th year. Loving wife of the late Arno Laschner (2001) and the late Nick Libiec (1983). Beloved mother of Rebecca, Gaby, and Rick; and mother-in-law of Janet. Extremely proud grandmother of Melissa, Matthew, Kevin, Jamie, and Josh. Great-Grandmother of Shaunna, Natalie, Chloe and Karsten. Dear sister of Joe, Betty, and the late Mathilde. Rosie is survived by relatives throughout Canada and Germany including numerous nephews and nieces. Mike's dearest friend; he will miss her deeply. Rosie loved long walks, swimming, and exploring the north country. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME - FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. Donations to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
