Sabah Salim Hanna

Sabah Salim Hanna, it is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Sabah, on Sunday August 19, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer in his 66th year, with his loving family by his side.

Loving brother of Samir (Vesna), Sami (Widad), Ikram (Nabil) and Ilham of Michagan. Beloved uncle of Suhair (Raid and their children Raffi, Sandra and Merna), Lina, Amanda, Allan and Symone.Predeceased by his late brother Nadeem and parents Salim and Amelda.Sabah will be missed by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends across the globe. He will be remembered for his kind, gentle and generous nature and for his love for his family. Sabah loved soccer and hockey, and was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

A visitation for Sabah will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Ave East, Hamilton. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament, 305 E 37th St., Hamilton. Followed by interment at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, 681 Mud Street East, in Stoney Creek.
