It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sharon Kathleen Smye on Thursday, October 14, 2021 in her 80th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Jim Smye for over 54 years. Loving mother of Craig (Amanda) and Jason (Tania). Much loved grandmother of Corina, Jacob, Zachary, Abigail and Jakob. Dear sister of Marlene (the late Terry), Mark (Terry), Marsha (Ray), the late Charlie (Bonnie), the late Tracey, Rich (Wendy) and sister-in-law of the late Irma, Jack (the late Sonya), Karen (Gaspare), Susan and Brad (Cindy). Predeceased by her parents Gord and Winnifred. Will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Many thanks to the staff at both Juravinski and St. Peter's Hospitals for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Assistance Program.
