Daughter of Frank and Ethel Fisher. Sister of Marylou and predeceased by brother Paul (Gail). Loving mother of Ken (Rocco Gizzarelli), Ron (Angele) and Michael (AnneMarie).
Cherished grandmother of Jeanne (Connor), Marc, Stephen, Nathan and Amelia. An accomplished pianist and educator, Mrs. Coit brought the joy of music to hundreds of young Hamiltonians over three decades of teaching piano. The family sincerely thanks the staff of St. Joesph's Hospital and Emmanuel House Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an Instrument for Every Child or Emmanuel House Hospice in Shirley’s memory.
Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 1-4pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 11am. Cremation to follow
