Sidney Cyril Saunders

In the arms of Abbie and Elaine, he died peacefully at Willowgrove on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Son to Hannah and Cyril Saunders, brother to Art, Bob, Irene, Thelma, Hannah and Ivy, loving father and devoted husband to Josie. Sid is survived by his son Wayne (wife Heather), daughter Elaine, grandchildren Scott, Ryan and Abbie, and great-granddaughters, Ivie-May and Isla.

Resting at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13th, between 3 and 6 p.m., while a service will be held on Tuesday, June 14th, 11 o'clock, at Blessed Sacrament Church. Entombment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Special thanks to the staff at Willowgrove, who made a home for Dad, and loved and cared for him to the end. It was a comfort knowing he was in your hands. Thank you.

Every good memory we have involved Dad. Loyal and generous, if he thought you needed it he would give you the shirt off his back. My mind still talks to you. My heart still looks for you. My soul knows you are at peace. I thank God for you but I will forever miss you.
