It is with profound sadness that we announce Slavkos passing suddenly at Home on January 16, 2013 at the age of 73. Beloved and devoted husband of Katarina for more than 47years. Cherished father of Alan and his wife Monica, Dear grampa to Nadia and Rianna. Will be lovingly remembered by his brother Franjo, and sisters Katarina, Andelka and Dragica of Croatia. Predeceased by his brother Ivan and sister Terezia. A dedicated employee of Firestone and Slater Steel. Will be fondly remembered by many friends and family. Visitation at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers on Friday at ?? pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church 1883 King Street East on Saturday January 19th 2013 at 9:30am. Interment to follow in Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
