Steven Jerome Gallant

It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Steve Jerome Gallant on July 14th, 2022 at St Joseph's Hospital. Surrounded by his family, he had fought a hard battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Maria (nee De Pasquale), leaving behind two teenage son's Ryan & Brandon. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Dianne, Debra Maaser (Jurgen) and Donna Sgro. Cherished by his loving mother Susan Spencer (nee Grady) and sadly missed by his in-laws (De Pasquale). Also with heavy hearts, his nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and co-workers will dearly miss him. Steve is now reunited with his father Nelson Gallant (2000) and his brother Ron Gallant (2022). Special thank you to all the doctors and the nursing staff for all their hard work.

Visitation at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday July 19 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 200 Mount Albion Road, Hamilton on Wednesday July 20, 2022 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
