Sorry to her about the loss of Trudy.  I went to Stinson Street School with her back many years ago.  I lived on Myrtle Ave..  yours respectfully Cathy Rolph(Schell)

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear today that Trudy had passed. I met her at Mohawk College where we became good friends. She was a bridesmaid at my wedding but we lost touch through the years. I think of her often and she always brought a smile to my face. She will be in my heart always. Deepest sympathies to Fred and her family.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Bloess, Rainer, Gunther, Roger, Fred and all who loved Trudy:

Please accept my most heartfelt sympathy in the sudden loss of your dear Trudy.

I know that Trudy loved and valued her family, friends, and Fred.  She loved her cats, and those housed at S.P.C.A. or homeless in her neighbourhood.

My words cannot express the deep sadness that I feel at the loss of my beautiful friend.  I am struggling to believe Trudy is gone.

Trudy was a kind, generous, and compassionate friend.  Her humorous disposition, and a mountain of memories during our almost four decade friendship, are treasured and will be truly missed!  Trudy's ability to deliver comic relief was greatly appreciated!

Today, while reading Trudy's old letters and greeting cards I am reminded that she was the utmost hilarious, quick-witted, precious caring person that I have ever known.

Years ago (1984), when Trudy was interested in Theatre, she pursued Acting Lessons in Toronto.  Each week I drove her to the Studio where she was chosen as Best Actress for the Pilot Soap Opera and winner of the much-coveted Rosco Award.  [ I held related items in my hands several days before Trudy passed away, and regret that I didn't phone her at that moment!]  One day in Toronto a young man rushed toward Trudy on a busy street corner, handed her a dozen fresh red roses, smiled and said, 'Just call it impulse!'  Trudy was pleasantly surprised and I will never forget her sweet considerate gesture.  She handed half of the red roses to me and insisted, 'You are pretty too!'   (woof!)

Trudy and I mostly travelled in different circles and cities, and were not consistently in contact but we were great friends, and never had one disagreement over several decades.  Our laughter could drown out a noisy restaurant filled with people and the clank of silverware and dishes!

I learned of Trudy's passing on the day of her Memorial Service.  Regrettably, due to the nature of my injury I could not come.

In celebration of Trudy's cherished life, I share your memories.  In deepest sympathy, I share your sadness.

I was shocked to hear of Trudys passing.
I send my heartfelt condolences to her family. Trudy was my 
maid-of-honour at my wedding in Sept. 1979.
We lost touch after I moved to NYC.
I have thought of her many times though.
She had the wittiest and sharpest sense of humour.
I can remember she would leave me in stitches 
just from a line or two. She had a theatrical flair and style 
all of her own. Truly unique. We shared many laughs 
together.

I am saddened to hear of Trudy's passing.  Trudy was part of an intimate circle of friends for more than 30 years.  In 1980 Trudy was a graduate of Mohawk College along with myself and many other dear friends.  Many of that close-knit class have kept in touch over the years with numerous gatherings and lots of shared memories. Trudy was vibrant and the true essence of life itself.  She really was the "life of the party".  She will be dearly missed but her memories will live on and will never be erased in my mind.

So very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Trudy at the Black Forest Inn. She was the funniest waitress ever! She also thought of everyone when it came to special occasions, christmas etc. We always received handmade gifts some of which we still have. Some of us also got together with her to help paint her house on Hunter.What a fun day that was.
She will be greatly missed by all of us! Keep smilin' Trudy!        Doe

My heart breaks for your loss.  I met Trudy the first summer I moved into my house - almost 18 years ago (she lived in the house behind mine).  We shared a common love of animals and we kept in touch over the years and many places she lived.  I will miss her kindness and spirit very much.
