Loving husband to Vassiliki "Vicky" of 54 years and adored father Agapi (Luke) and Rebecca. Cherished brother to Trifon Samaras (Rena). Adored uncle to his nieces and nephew. Predeceased by his parents George & Agapi Samaras. Born on May 1, 1940 in Xino Nero, Greece and later immigrated to Canada in 1970 to start a family. Bill worked as a welder at Steel Car for over 30 years until his retirement in 2005. Throughout his life he remained a loyal pillar of strength in our lives. We will forever cherish the love he gave us and the fun memories. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. Hamilton, Ontario on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 5-8pm with a Prayer Service at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Demetrios Greek Church, 22 Head Street on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11am. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
