Vera Mysko

It is with great sadness that the family of Vera (Sarafin) Mysko announce her passing on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Shalom Village, Hamilton, 17 days shy of her 93rd birthday. She is predeceased by her husband Michael (1998), her son Edward, her grandsons, Wade and Dustin, her brothers Max and Nick and her sister Anne. She was the devoted Mom, Mother-in-law and Grandma of Dolores and Nicole Regimbald; June (Ray), Ilene, Connie (Barry) and Lisa Gardner; Joan Mysko; Carrol Mysko (Gordon) and Renita; Sally Mysko; Glenn (Laurie), Davis and Charlotte Mysko; and Elizabeth Mysko. She is survived by granddaughters Teresa Lago and Shelley Marshall, brothers, Sid and Tony and sisters, Rosina, Dorothy, and Sylvia and the Mysko family of Saskatchewan. Many thanks go to Shalom Village for their exemplary care of Mom and special thanks to Mariola Olezewska who was much more than a caregiver to Vera. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 31, at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to service at the Truscott, Brown & Dwyer Funeral Chapel, 1309 King St. E., Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society, Shalom Village or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
