Victor Nicholas Pesola

Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, on July 28, 2014, in his 83rd year. Beloved and devoted husband of Lydia (nee Pasian) for over 57 years. Loving father of Stephen (Karen) and Carolynn (Graham Reid). Very proud and loving grandfather of Natalie, Michael, and Kristina. Predeceased by his parent Nickolas and Mary Pesola and his in-laws Charles and Victoria Schiavon. Victor was a retired and proud employee of Dofasco for over 34 years sharing stories with his grandchildren often. He spent many years enjoying travelling and his homes in Florida and Hamilton. An avid sportsman, having grown up in Northern Ontario, he enjoyed playing hokey, curling, golf and billiards.. Resting at the CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME UPPER JAMES CHAPEL, 1020 Upper James Street, Hamilton, on Wednesday, July 30th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at Annunciation of Our Lord Parish on Thursday, July 31st at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Memorial donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
