It is with heartfelt sadness we announce Violets passing at St Josephs Hospital on March 19, 2013 at the age of 93. Cherished Mother of Wilma Backle (the late Robert 2001) (Evol Nebhart) and George Heffernan (Linda 1999). Loving and devoted Nana of Shawn Backle (Jean McCall), Lisa Stadnik (Manny Azevedo), Pamela Heffernan (Michael Hartshorn), Rechelle Froud, Robyn Stadnik (Derek Popwell), Alana Sims (Josh Gamer), Riley Stadnik, Cayden Stadnik, Makenna Sims, Ethan Hartshorn. Will be sadly missed by nieces; Darlene (Terry), Ellen (Mark), Ava, and nephew David Mombourquette. Will be fondly remembered by Joan Attwood (Tommy) and Sue Dukeshire. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at St Josephs Hospital for their kindness, care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday March 22, 2013 from 10am until time of service in the Chapel at 12 noon. Cremation has taken place. In Violets memory donations to St Josephs Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
