He was predeceased by his wife Rosemary of 61 years. Walter is survived by his daughters, Teri (Brian), Yvonne (Rick), sons Wally (Wendy), Tim (Linda), as well as his grandchildren Ryan, Taryn, Saxon, Christine, Jason, Cheryl, Jessica, Noah, Brennen, and Ailsa, along with his great grandchildren Liam, Isla, Cameron, Connor, Evan, Finley, Averey, and Adelaide.
Predeceased by his parents William and Anne Kulikowski, survived by his siblings Ron, Gerry, Morris, Dennis and Debbie. He will be fondly missed by his in-laws, nieces and nephews along with a multitude of friends that he made in his life.
Walter was a longtime employee at Stelco Hilton Works. He started his career in the blacksmith shop as a hammer driver and then moved to the stores department where he retired in 2005. Walter was the preeminent husband, father and sibling. He was always there to make you laugh, smile or grin with a joke or two. He was the master of one-liners and innuendos that would make the average man blush. He could always calm my mother down with a quick joke or a gesture, or send her over the edge. It was hit or miss.
Thank-you Dad for providing for us, protecting us, playing with us, and raising us to always laugh and to not take life so seriously. It’s time now to meet up with the love of your life and see her smile. Love You.
