Predeceased by her husband Juozas (2006). Loving mother of Laima (Mark Hommersen), Ramona (Andrew Pitman), and Ron (Michelle). Grandma to James (Chelsea), David (Lauren), Laura (Harrison), and Deanna. Great-grandmother to Benni and Harper Hennick. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends in Canada and Lithuania.
Wanda was a retired employee of the Hamilton Psychiatric Hospital, where she was a seamstress for many years. She was a devoted Catholic who served at Our Lady of Mercy Lithuanian Church.
Special thank you to Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their care and compassion, and the staff who cared for her at the Hamilton General Hospital. A special thank you to Vida and Donna who lovingly supported our Mom.
A visitation will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford Ave.), Hamilton, on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023 from 12 pm – 2:30 pm. A Funeral Service will follow in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel at 2:30 pm. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory, may be made to Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice.
